First one of them all,
this is where the adventure begins.
Don't be afraid to fall,
climbing is needed to reach its sigils.

South of the shrine goes thy way,
there thou shalt find Valus' lair.

Fifteen left and only first one is down.
Be strong, even though in sorrow thou may drown.

This one is slow and resembles a bull.
So raise thy courage without being dull.
On all fours it walks, take a closer look.
For its weak point thou shalt find in its foot.

One quick arrow and the beast comes down.
Now's thy chance; climb, don't fall.
Hold on tight, you know what to do.
After a fight, it's one less to go.

Knight of the earth, sleeping all alone.
Until it's time for thou to come.
It is angry and giant indeed,
those facts thou may heed.

The ground will shatter as he swings his sword.
Do it right and his armor shall fall.
Keep it steady and do thy things,
for to the ground he may thee fling.
Then he falls down, it was his last fight.
Thou fought him with all thy might.

Phaedra, the horse, sits in the distance,
in the middle of green fields it resides.
But as thou arrive it shall rise,
so use thy wits, thou need to be wise.

Climb its tail all the way to its head,
hold on tight and soon it'll fall to its bed.
Thou were indeed brave,
and now Phaedra's home shall be its grave.

In distance it flies and on the pillar it stands.
Motionless it is, unless thou provoke it.
Then it shall leave its place
and approach thee face to face.

Quick, grab on and make haste,
this bird just won't hesitate.
It flaps and spins and does everything it may
but soon in the water will it fall.
And in the lake it sleeps starting from this day.

Underneath the temple this giant lurks,
and as the wall disappears, out it bursts.
Get a head start and run to the other side.
Hurry out of sight and hide for a while.

When thou get the chance, up, up, up thou climb.
Hold on tight now, 'cause it'll wildly trash.
Do not lose hope 'cause thou shalt cope.

Underwater it lurks, this thundering eel.
Be on guard, it wants to hurt and maybe even kill.
Its attention thou must get,
but remember; it's a risky bet.

Swim closer, grab on, quickly give a strike.
For messing up might cost thee thou life.

Halfway through and still going strong.
But this ain't easy, don't get me wrong.
A shadow crawling the walls
and then down, down it falls.

Rather small colossus is this
hopefully its projectiles will miss.

Trust thy horse, for she will be thy guide
and keep thee away from harm,
Among the geysers this one lives,
in the cave it dwells and nasty looks it gives.

Watch out for its projectile missiles,
for they will hurt.
It just woke up,
but soon it sleeps.

Under the sand, hidden in a cave
lives this beast, so be brave.
Shaking the earth it chases thee around
so aim for the eyes with no doubt.

Agro is here once again
for thou really need her.
Once Dirge hits the wall,
it's thy time to do what thou can.

Resides hidden from curious eyes.
The guardian of flame, little and fiery.
To defeat it thou don't need disguise.

It fears fire, but it's not a fool.
So just be careful and stay cool.
Its life ends in its lair,
for its destiny came in shape of a lone man,
firm but fair.
Fair for who, you may wonder.
He'd do anything for his love,
and his name is Wander.

Found in the lake is this thundering one,
it's in the place where Agro can't come.
Slowly it moves around, so take advantage.

But look out for its attacks,
for they won't do thee good.

In the desert lives this peaceful giant,
who won't do thee harm.
As it swoops down, trust thy horse.
Climb up its wing and do thy thing.

Finally the peaceful colossus is coming down.
In the desert it sleeps.

Guardian of the ancient city,
that's what this colossus is.
Run for cover and maybe duck,
if thou want to have any luck.

It keeps knocking the pillars down
while it's chasing thee.
And after a while it shalt fall too,
with once a beautiful city in ruin.

This one is another giant,
and it knows thou art there.
So turn around and keep on running
to get to higher ground.

As soon as its weapon drops,
be ready for the final strike.

Thy wish is nearly granted,
for this is the final colossus.
But thy task is not an easy one, for this giant stands in thy way.
Make haste but be careful.

Thy trusty horse ins't there anymore,
so keep going strong.
For this is almost over
and the time is short.

Thou did the best thou could,
but is it all in vain?

The last colossus has fallen, and the remains of 16 colossi are scattered around the Forbidden Lands.

And thus falls Wander, the hero of this story.
All he wished was to get back his love,
but in the end he does not bask in glory.
For he wished things would be different,
and he and Mono would love each other until the end.

And as the eagle flies over the Forbidden Lands across the Sunlit Earth, we say goodbye to Agro, Mono and Wander, the one who gave his all, and even more.
I was bored and couldn't come up with anything to do, so I started writing this little thing. I just love Shadow of the Colossus so I felt like this was an appropriate thing to do. I guess I should be bored more often.
